Ann Feldman wrote “Familiar/Unfamiliar” for Dan Bena’s new book “500 Words, or Less: True Stories of Purpose, Passion, and Life Lessons.”
500 Words is about the number of words on a full typed page of text, so every contributor was challenged to distill down the most important part of their story, and it wasn’t easy! The author, Dan Bena, is hoping to show that there is so much more that connects us as a human family than there is that divides us. His goal is to publish a new edition of this book every year for the rest of his life, or until he includes stories from 1% of the global population (which translates into stories from 75 million people). The current, inaugural version was just published, and is available for purchase in print version and e-book version here, with the audible version in the works.
